In the heart of the mountains of Dwarahat (Almora), Uttarakhand, something extraordinary began in 2023 — a vision to bring people together through the power of great food, fine ambiance, and cultural richness. That vision became reality when Ashutosh Chandrakant founded LOTUS, the town’s first true fine dining restaurant.

Just like the lotus flower that blooms with grace and strength from humble origins, LOTUS Restaurant grew from deep roots — a passion for food, family, and tradition. Set against the serene backdrop of the Himalayas, we offer a multicuisine dining experience that blends global flavors with warm mountain hospitality.

Had a great time in lotus cafe. Surely it is place for fine dining and a casual hang out both. You can visit anytime with your friends or family. The food is excellent and the decor of the place adds a feather on the cap. Superb ambience and great taste! Loved the honey chilli potatoes and the mutton biryani.

A hidden gem restaurant! Hands down the best mutton biryani we had in Lotus. The flavors were rich, the meat was tender, and the aroma unforgettable. Highly recommended !

A wonderful restaurant in the middle of Dwarahat. The food here is very tasty and the service is fantastic. I’ve tried a few dishes now and all have been up to the mark. The owner is also a very soft spoken lad. Definitely visit if you are in the vicinity.
