Lotus Café & Restaurant is located in the tranquil hill town of Dwarahat, Uttarakhand—surrounded by natural beauty, rich culture, and peaceful Himalayan charm. Whether you’re coming from Delhi or nearby cities like Haldwani, getting here is easy and scenic.

How to Reach Dwarahat

By Road (From Delhi or Haldwani)

From Delhi: Approx. 400 km | 10–11 hours
Drive via NH9 through Hapur, Moradabad, Rampur, and Haldwani. Continue on NH109 via Bhimtal and Ranikhet to reach Dwarahat.
From Haldwani: Approx. 100 km | 3–4 hours
Take NH109 via Kathgodam, Bhimtal, Bhowali, and Ranikhet. Enjoy a beautiful drive through the Kumaon hills.

Taxis and buses are available from both Delhi and Haldwani. Shared jeeps run frequently from Ranikhet to Dwarahat.

By Train

Nearest Railway Station: Kathgodam (KGM)
- From Delhi: Daily trains like Ranikhet Express and Shatabdi Express run to Kathgodam.
- From Kathgodam, Dwarahat is about 100 km away (3–4 hours by taxi or bus).
- Taxis and shared transport are readily available outside the station.

By Air

Nearest Airport: Pantnagar Airport (PGH) – Approx. 140 km from Dwarahat
- Direct flights from Delhi to Pantnagar.
- From Pantnagar, take a taxi or bus via Haldwani and Ranikhet to reach Dwarahat in 4–5 hours.

Had a great time in lotus cafe. Surely it is place for fine dining and a casual hang out both. You can visit anytime with your friends or family. The food is excellent and the decor of the place adds a feather on the cap. Superb ambience and great taste! Loved the honey chilli potatoes and the mutton biryani.

A hidden gem restaurant! Hands down the best mutton biryani we had in Lotus. The flavors were rich, the meat was tender, and the aroma unforgettable. Highly recommended !

A wonderful restaurant in the middle of Dwarahat. The food here is very tasty and the service is fantastic. I’ve tried a few dishes now and all have been up to the mark. The owner is also a very soft spoken lad. Definitely visit if you are in the vicinity.
